Upcoming Business and Community Expo Wednesday, April 11

Rockport, Maine - The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 25th Annual Business and Community Expo from 2 to 7 pm on Wednesday, April 11, at the Samoset Resort.

Held each year to showcase area businesses and non-profits, the Expo offers attendees the opportunity to see some of the exciting things that are going on in the Camden-Rockland Region.  The Expo is open to the general public and admission is FREE.

From banks and builders to Internet and transportation providers, there are companies both new and well established. “Whether you’re shopping for insurance or home care, landscaping, painting, or roofing, you’ll find these services and more at the Expo,” noted Amy Rollins, the Chamber’s Member Services Director.

“We’re seeing quite a few first-time exhibitors participating in this year’s Expo, and exhibit space sold out quickly. In addition to visiting with many of our business members, you’ll learn about dozens of local non-profits, ranging from art to education, animal shelters, and the environment, all under one roof on the eleventh of April!”

Tom Peaco, the Chamber’s Executive Director added, “We encourage people to attend whether they are residents, business people, or both.  The exhibits are so diverse this year, we are confident that everyone will find something they are interested in or a new service they might use.”

Many booths will feature give-away items and door prizes. A cash bar will be open in the Baypoint Ballroom venue for the duration of the Expo.

The Expo’s Gold Sponsor this year is Camden National Bank.  Silver sponsors include Adventure Advertising, Courier Publications/Village Soup, Dead River Company, Frank FM/The Wolf, LCI, Pen Bay Medical Center, and Philbrook & Associates, and the Samoset Resort.  Wallace Events is an Event Partner.
