Oceanside Varsity Baseball Wins Close Game Against Medomak Valley

Rockland, Maine - After 9 innings Oceanside High School Varsity Baseball team wins against visitors Medomak Valley High School by a score of 5-4 back on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at Morrill Field in Rockland, Maine.

Oceanside rallied from down 4-1 to score a pair in the 5th, 1 in the 7th and walked it off in the 9th for a 5-4 win over Medomak Valley.

Medomak jumped out with a 3 run 2nd, two scoring on Brent Stewart’s RBI single, and then Stewart singles, stole second, moved up on a ground out and scored on passed ball to make it 4-1.

Oceanside made it 4-3 in the 5th on a RBI single by Michael Dougherty and a bases loaded walk to Titus Kaewthong, then tied the game on Kaewthong’s RBI double in the 7th and won it on Kaewthong’s sacrifice fly in the 9th, to finish with 3 RBIs.  Uriah Thongsphaphone reached base 5 times, including 2 hits and scored 4 runs.

Michael Dougherty pitched 4 and ⅔ shutout innings allowing just 1 hit and walking 2 to earn the win.
