WATERVILLE, Maine – Husson freshman Stefen Strachan, senior Cody Collins, and junior Justin Martin have all earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekly awards, the league announced Monday.

Collins recorded a complete-game win as the Eagles defeated UMaine-Farmington 5-1. In seven innings of work, the senior struck out five, while allowing only one earned run (1.29 ERA) and scattering four hits.

Stefen Strachan, Husson (Fr., OF - Nassau, Bahamas) Rookie of the Week
Strachan went 4-for-9 with three singles, one double, and one walk in three games for the Eagles. He also scored two runs, recorded an RBI and stole two bases on the week.

Justin Martin, Husson (Jr., Javelin - Winslow, Maine) Co-Field Athlete of the Week
Martin dominated the javelin at the Occidental College Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic, as he earned first place surpassing his previously set school record last season. The junior tossed the javelin 58.06 meters which was good enough to qualify him for the New England Division III Outdoor Championship. His toss ranks him third in all of New England and 11th in the nation.
