Friday's Sea Dogs' Game Suspended
Game to be Completed at 5:00 PM on Saturday Followed by the Regularly Scheduled Game
Portland, Maine - Friday's Portland Sea Dogs' game against the New Britain Rock Cats was suspended in the fourth inning due to rain. The game will be completed on Saturday, August 18th at 5:00 PM followed by Saturday's regularly scheduled game, which will be seven innings in duration.
Fans with tickets to Friday's suspended game are subject to the Sea Dogs' rain policy and can be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2012 Sea Dogs home game or a home game during the 2013 season, subject to availability.
Tickets for Saturday are good for both the completion of the suspended game and the regularly scheduled game.
Friday's game is scoreless heading into the bottom of the fourth inning. Sea Dogs starter Stolmy Pimentel had not issued a hit through four innings allowing just one walk and recording four strikeouts. Jackie Bradley Jr. and Marquez Smith led-off the game with back-to-back singles but failed to score off New Britain starter Luke French.
Mainer Mike MacDonald (1-2, 5.23) is scheduled to start Saturday's regularly scheduled game for the Sea Dogs. The games can be heard live on 95.5/95.9 FM WPEI. Tickets are available and can be purchased by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or online at www.seadogs.com.
The Sea Dogs will be hosting "Picnic in the Park" on Saturday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Meet the 2012 Portland Sea Dogs and enjoy a ballpark style picnic meal at the ballpark. Tickets are $15.00 and are available through the Sea Dogs' Ticket Office.
