“Facebook for Seniors (and Others!)” August 30
The Camden Public Library will host an afternoon workshop to introduce Facebook to seniors and others with an interest in social media on the computer, on Thursday, August 30, 1:00 to 4:00 pm. This introductory session will be taught by Patrick Therrien of the state Broadband Technology Opportunity Program. Patrick gets rave reviews so don’t hesitate to sign up! Call the library at 236-3440 to register. The workshop is free, and the minimum class size is 6.
Stay connected anytime, anywhere, with family and friends! Facebook offers a useful world of interaction; it is easy to connect with your children, grandchildren, and close friends. This introductory session will cover building your profile in Facebook; understanding your privacy settings; and utilizing the features of Facebook. Required: an email account that you can access from any computer.
