The Time Pilots headline Final Cool Sounds of the Season
Bangor, Maine - Downtown Bangor Partnership is welcoming The Time Pilots to the Cool Sounds Stage for our final show of the 2012 season.
Whether you were there the first time or just learning to love the 80′s, you will have the time of your life shakin’ it up to the best of Rick Springfield, Prince, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, Bryan Adams, and more! Polished vocals and guitar wizardry will make you think you just stepped out of the Delorean, and its 1985! Some bands are versatile, and some bands rock; with Time Pilots, you don’t have to choose. From The Beatles to Maroon 5, enjoy decades of dance hits with a sound that is as energetic as it is complimentary to the original artists.
The show is in conjunction with the Outdoor Market which features over 45 vendors selling Maine-made fine arts, select crafts, specialty food items and produce. All items are handmade, prepared or raised by the vendor. Items available include; art, baked goods, cheese, clothing, food, handbags, jewelry, photography, and much more. The market, located along Broad Street and in West Market Square, will be held from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM. For a complete list of vendors visit www.downtownbangor.com. The Cool Sounds free concert runs from 6:00 PM- 7:30 PM.
The event takes place rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather. In the event of heavy rain market participation is at the discretion of the vendor and concerts will be moved under Pickering Square garage.
