Cellardoor Winery's Vinfest 2012 Brings The 20's Jazz-Age To Life In Lincolnville, Maine - September 28 Through 30

Lincolnville, Maine – The team at Cellardoor Winery announced final plans for their weekend-long Vinfest 2012. Scheduled to run Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30, this year’s annual celebration of fall in Maine will bring the exuberant energy of the roaring 20’s to life.

“When we plan Vinfest we set out to create a celebration that immerses our guests in an experience they won’t soon forget,” said Cellardoor’s owner, Bettina Doulton. “While we kick-off this year’s Vinfest with a dinner dance that features the incredible Commodores, our Saturday and Sunday events are open to all ages and full of fun for everyone,” she added.

Highlights for Vinfest 2012 Include:

• The Dinner Dance. Guests will be transported to another era in a specially constructed tent at the winery. The evening begins with an hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a multi-course meal - paired with the appropriate Cellardoor wines - prepared by Chefs Michael Salmon of The Hartstone Inn, David Turin of David’s & David’s 388, Melissa Kelly of Primo, and Geoffroy Deconinck of Natalie’s at the Camden Harbour Inn. The evening’s entertainment features Swingshift, Jesse Campbell from NBC’s “The Voice,” and wraps up with the only Maine appearance by the Commodores. The Dinner Dance is sold-out, but a limited number of concert & dessert tickets are still available for $65 per person.

• Saturday at The Winery: A Celebration of Fall. This all-day event is an experience for the whole family. Guests will enjoy live music, a specially prepared BBQ, food and wine pairings, grape stomping, winery tours, chef demonstrations, rides, games, and more. Tickets are $10 per person.

• Sunday at The Winery: A Gatsby Affair. Presented in conjunction with Bay Chamber Concerts and Megunticook Market, this all-ages afternoon event is a swell way to end an incredible weekend. Charleston and other hepcat dance lessons with Roddy Caravella, followed by a Tea Dance featuring Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra, plus croquet, badminton and tug o’ war games on the lawn make this a swinging good time for all. Tickets are $50 per person, $10 for students 18 and under.
