ROCKLAND, ME - Midcoast Music Academy (MCMA) is a new community music school committed to helping students of all ages and skill levels unlock their creative potential and express themselves through music. We offer private lessons, group instruction, music labs and workshops, as well as music programming for area schools and businesses. Our teaching philosophy combines the fundamentals of notation, theory and ear training while engaging each student through music that speaks to their individual tastes.
This spring, MCMA will offer two music classes—Rhythm Masters World Drumming and The Songwriter's Workshop—at the Thomaston Grammar School. We are thrilled to be a part of their new after-school pilot program and we look forward to other school and community collaborations in the future.
