Travel Advisory: Maine Turnpike Exit 53 (West Falmouth)‏

PORTLAND, Maine – The Maine Turnpike Authority will close the northbound off-ramp at Exit 53 in
West Falmouth, Tuesday, June 12, 2012, starting at 9:00 p.m. The northbound on-ramp will then close
Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 9:00 p.m. Both closures are scheduled to last until 5:00 a.m. the
following morning.

The Turnpike also plans to close the Exit 53 Park and Ride in West Falmouth Wednesday evening,
June 13, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012, for pavement rehabilitation.
Commuters are encouraged to seek parking alternatives for Thursday.

The ramp closures will ensure motorist and worker safety. The work is weather sensitive and may be
delayed, extended or rescheduled. Updates for Turnpike construction projects are available at

traffic control signs, and use caution around work zones.
