ROCKLAND CAFÉ AND PENOBSCOT BAY DENTISTRY WIN

Rockland Cafe (6-2) defeated Damariscotta (2-5) 1-0 in 10 innings as Nick Mazurek ripped an RBI single in to plate Zach Gledhill for the game's only run.  Gledhill started the rally with a walk, followed by singles by Ryan Allender, Zac Roman and Mazurek.  Mazurek was also the game’s winning pitcher tossing the game’s final 6 innings, striking out 13 and allowing only 3 hits.  Allender pitched the first 4 innings for Rockland Café, allowing only 1 hit and striking out 4.  Offensively Allender with 3 hits and Zac Roman added 2 singles.


Penobscot Bay Dentistry of Belfast (5-3) travelled to Thomaston and rapped out 16 hits en route a 12-1 over Georges Valley (4-4).  Asa Lewis led the way with 3 hits, 2 runs and 3 RBIs while Emery Dinsmore added 3 hits, 1 run and 2 stolen bases.  Alex Flagg and Anthony Defeo each added 2 hits and a RBI.  4 Penobscot Bay Dentistry combined to limited Georges Valley to 2 hits, 3 walks while striking out 6.


Travis Frye doubled and Titus Kaewthong singled for Georges Valley, while Andrew King scored the lone GV one wild pitch.
