Phantom of the Opera at Lincoln Theater

Damariscotta, Maine - On Thursday, July 12 at 7 PM, the curtain will rise at Lincoln Theater in downtown Damariscotta on  the 25th anniversary production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh’s history-making Phantom of the Opera  captured lived in HD and brought to the big screen by Omniverse Vision. With a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendor of the Royal Albert Hall, the event has captivated cinema audiences around the world.

Phantom is Broadway’s longest running show and has been seen by over 100 million people worldwide. This special event features over 200 cast members, orchestra musicians and luminaries involved with The Phantom of the Opera over the past 25 years.

The production is directed by Laurence Connor with musical staging and choreography based on the original London production directed by Hal Prince and choreography by Gillian Lynne.

The broadcast will be followed in two weeks on July 26 at 7 PM with the Andrew Lloyd Webber sequel to Phantom, Love Never Dies, captured live in Melbourne Australia.
