Camden, Maine-Marc Felix will be the featured speaker at the Wellness Series Brown Bag Lunch on Monday, July 9, at noon, at the Camden Public Library. Felix will be speaking on “A Shamanic Glimpse of Life and Healing.” The Wellness series is co-hosted by the library and the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.
“Most of us have a deep rooted desire to enter the realms of Spirit,” says Marc Felix. “Shamanism, our planet’s most ancient visionary path, is a way to access the worlds of myth, dream, and non-ordinary reality. In this talk we will explore what Shamanism is and some of what it has to offer us.” Marc, a psychotherapist in private practice at Camden Whole Health, did a twenty year shamanic apprenticeship with an Apache Medicine Chief. His current practice is an integration of psychotherapy and shamanism.
