Teen Fright Night at the Library

Blue Hill, Maine - Kids and their families, or at least those who are brave enough, are invited to join Pat Horton for a scary movie on Friday the 13th of July for Fright Night! Pat will be showing Godzilla (1998 rated pg-13) at 7:00 PM on the Library’s “pretty big” screen.  Free popcorn will be served.

The 1998 version of Godzilla stars Matthew Broderick as the research scientist, Niko Tatopolous, who is called in to investigate the matter of an unknown creature spotted at the Panama Canal. He quickly realizes that a giant, irradiated lizard has been created by explosions created by French atomic bomb-testing in the Pacific. Godzilla then makes its way north, landing at Manhattan to begin wreaking havoc in New York, and the combined forces of the U.S. Military are called in to battle the creature.
