Lithgow Library announces Summer Concert Series line-up‏

Augusta, Maine - Lithgow Public Library’s outdoor Summer Concert Series -- now in its third year -- promises an exciting line-up of performers, from alternative rock to folk to roots/Americana – something sure to please every musical taste.  Four of the six musical acts (Simons & Goodwin, This Way, and the Pete Kilpatrick and Billy Libby bands) are returning to the popular series, which take place on the library lawn.

The concert series kicks off with well-known folk duo Simons & Goodwin on Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m.  Generously sponsored by the Friends of Lithgow Library, the concerts take place on Thursday evenings in the summer, and are free and open to the public.

"After only three years, Lithgow Summer Concert Series has become firmly established as one of the highlights of the summer cultural offerings in the greater Augusta area,” said concert series coordinator Shelby Monroe.  “We are excited to bring back an amazing line-up of performers right here on the lawn at Lithgow.”
