Since fairies prefer woodland homes, and true fairy houses must be made from natural materials, creating the habitat requires a slow, thoughtful walk outdoors to collect building materials, find a site, and let the imagination take flight. Author Liza Gardner Walsh is a children’s librarian and educator and holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College. She weaves fairy folklore, do's and don'ts, and wisdom into a book that is sure to enchant children and adults alike.
