BATH- The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT) this June, July, and August are offering a series of 'Summer Explorations' for folks to experience the estuary through photography, botany, and clamming.
Thursday, June 21: Nature Photography with Tom Arter, 7 am to 10 am
Come discover the basics to taking outdoor photos to capture those special natural landscapes and memories. Location to be announced! The workshop is limited to 10 participants.
Wednesday, July 11: Botany Walk with Willow Schwartz, 10 am to 12 pm
Join a landscape gardener and native plant connoisseur on a walk through KELT's Merrymeeting Fields Preserve in Woolwich to learn more about Maine's native plant species.
Wednesday, August 8: Clam Digging with Jon Hentz, 10 am to 12 pm
An encore exploration from last summer, come explore the softshell clam flats of Reid State Park with Georgetown's Shellfish Warden and dig a clam or two. This event is great for kids!

The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust is a membership supported organization dedicated to protecting the land, water and wildlife of the Kennebec Estuary.
