This half-day session is an abbreviated version of Efficiency Maine’s Building Operator Certification (BOC®) programs, a seven-day course for facilities personnel to improve the energy performance of their buildings.  Attendees will leave this session with an understanding of the knowledge highlights from the full course.  There are four dates and locations described on the registration page where the half-day course is available,

What will be covered?

Participants will learn practical, low-cost and no-cost ideas for HVAC, lighting and plug loads that can be readily implemented to save money. We will bring new meaning to the adage “tune it up, turn it down, turn it off” by offering a checklist of common opportunities and a set of resources for getting started on the path to improved performance and cost savings. Participants interested in more in-depth technical training will learn about training and certification opportunities through Efficiency Maine’s Building Operator Certification (BOC®) program.

This session is being offered in four different locations, and the cost to attend this introductory "lite" session is just $10.00 per person.
