Lewiston Public Library is hosting TEDxDirigo live video stream from Edinborough, Scotland

Mark your calendars for Wed, June 27th-
Lewiston, Me-  Lewiston Public Library is hosting TEDxDirigo for a live video stream from Edinborough, Scotland of TEDGlobal2012.  Also, later that evening TEDxDirigo will be holding tryouts for Mainers to share their big idea with attendees in Callahan Hall and possibly earn a chance to present at this year's live TEDxDirigo event at Bates College in October.  For details, keep reading...
LPL and the Lyceum Gallery are proud to partner with TEDxDirigo for a day-long experience of “ideas worth spreading” on Wed, June 27. First, from 10am until 7pm, we will be hosting a viewing party of TEDGlobal2012. Watch TED Talks as they happen in Edinborough, Scotland, right here in Lewiston. Then, at 7:15pm TEDxDirigo will hold its second ever tryouts where people from L/A and Maine will have two minutes each to share their big idea. The audience will choose a “people’s choice” who will be invited back to TEDxDirigo’s annual live event, happening this year on the Bates College campus on October 20. All programming on June 27 is free and open to the public. Registration is required if you’d like to tryout and appreciated if you plan to attend otherwise.
