Fort Kent, Maine - The International Bridge at Fort Kent will be closed to ALL traffic Tuesday, June 12 from 8am to 3pm to perform necessary inspections under the bridge, and to use ground penetrating radar to inspect the bridge deck. At the same time, we will begin curb and joint repair.
No trucks in excess of 5 tons will be allowed on the bridge between 8am and 3pm on June 13th through the 15th and then again on the 19th through the 22nd. Passenger cars will be allowed on the bridge on those days, but it will be a single lane of alternating traffic.
All work is weather dependent, so motorists should pay attention to the signage for up-to-date schedules.
