Yarmouth, Proposed At-Grade Public Crossing for Pedestrian and Bicycle Traffic

Yarmouth, Maine - Pursuant to 23 M.R.S.A. Section 7202, the Maine Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing to receive evidence about a proposed public at-grade crossing for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in Yarmouth, Maine. The proposed crossing would be located over the tracks owned by the State of Maine at mile marker 10.12. St. Lawrence and Atlantic Railway has operational rights, however, currently no rail operations are ongoing at this location.

Interested parties and the public are invited to attend this hearing and may offer comments and present written information. Any person who seeks formal intervener status under 5 MRSA § 9054 shall, by April 18, 2017, deliver or mail written notice of intervener status to Toni L.
