Schools: Camden Rockport Middle School Presents Our Time, A Musical Revue March 30th

Rockport, ME - Camden Rockport Middle School will be performing numbers from a variety of musical shows on on Friday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. in Strom Auditorium at Camden Hills Regional High School.

Over a quarter of the student body at CRMS has been involved in the production of the revue. Everyone from actors and singers to set designers and tech crew have been busy, up to six days a week, preparing for the show. Students in the cast are learning music, choreography, blocking and gathering costumes. Students in the tech crew are making posters and props, and learning details of backstage planning.

The show, titled "Our Time," will feature Broadway show music, with solos by students Nick Greer singing "Corner of the Sky," Sadie Allen singing "Adelaide's Lament," and Nick Tassoni singing "If I Only Had a Brain," as well as duets by Harper Gordan and Alice Harper singing "For Good" and Hilary Merrifield and Shawn Albertson singing "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better." There will also be large group numbers with over 60 students singing and dancing on stage.

Many community members and parents are involved as well. The musicians include Steve Costanza on piano, Max McFarland on bass, Jeff Densmore on drums and Phil Clement on guitar. Katie Thompson and Kristi Williamson are assisting with choreography. The director is Allysa Anderson and the tech director is Erma Colvin.

Tickets, $6 for adults, free for children under 5, are available at HAV II and the CRMS main office.

Please come out to support those taken part in this Camden-Rockport Middle School Musical. This Musical will be at the Camden Hills Regional High School's Strom Auditorium on Route 90 in Rockport, ME.
