Blind Albert Plays Rock City Cafe Tonight MAR. 9th

Rockland, ME - Tonight Blind Albert will be playing at Rock City Cafe starting at 7pm. Vietnam combat veteran/rock and blues man, Vincent Gabriel-aka-Blind Albert was born in new jersey in 1947. His father was his first musical influence and the reason he plays music today. In 1966 he started his first rock band and since than has never looked back. Over the past 20 years he has had the honor to perform and work with blues greats Jimi Rogers, Carey Bell, Kenny Neal, Son Seals, Leon Russell, Big Jack Johnson, and the list goes on and on. As a songwriter he has written well over 200 songs. One of which was just released as part of a 13 CD box set called “next stop is Vietnam” which includes songs written about the Vietnam war by Bob Dylan, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Steppenwolf, Pete Seeger and many more well known artists. Vincent will perform songs he has written over the past 40 years including songs his father and mother used to sing.. CDs will be available at the show.


We hope you will be able to come out tonight to Rock City Cafe to listen to Blind Albert from 7pm to 9om and have some great food.
