The loss of VillageSoup has left a very large hole in the communities of Knox,

Lincoln and Waldo counties. Rocky Coast Media and Shoot Maine Studios

Publications will partner together to fill that void by providing local news, sports

and community events. It is also our intent to provide a special emphasis on local

businesses and tourism.

On Monday March 12, 2012 we launched Rocky Coast News.com offering local

news and community events. We also offer maritime, entertainment and business

news from the local area. It is our intent to add classified, community events

calendar and TV listings in the coming weeks.

David Mills is the founder and editor of Rocky Coast Media, publisher of Rocky

Coast News.blogspot.com which averages 33,000 page views per month. Doug

Mills is a Maine author and photographer, owner of Shoot Maine Studios

Publications which publishes The MaineSail Magazine. Together they will work to

fill the hole left by the loss of VillageSoup.
