Bay Chamber Music School Announces Ukulele Program

Rockport, Maine - Bay Chamber Music School in Rockport is excited to announce a new 8 week Ukulele Group Class, taught by Jeff Weinberger. The Ukulele Group Class is open to both children and adults, and begins Monday November 25th from 5:30-6:30 PM in Rockport Village. The Ukulele is an accessible instrument, perfect for all ages. The class provides a fun and collaborative environment, and adds a new dimension to the concept of family and community music making! Together with Jeff, the Bay Chamber Music School invites all ages and abilities to explore this accessible instrument in a friendly and welcoming environment. The cost to participate is $80 for the entire 8 week session.


Jeff Weinberger is a guitarist, Ukulele player, and educator who has taught, played, written and recorded music in New England for over three decades, He received his Bachelors in Music from the University of Maine at Augusta and maintains a private teaching practice and a guest teaching position at the Belfast Cornerspring Montessori School. Jeff holds Ukulele workshops at Unity College and has recorded his original music with some of the Midcoast’s finest musicians. Jeff teaches at Bay Chamber Music School on Mondays, with rolling enrollment opportunities available for private lessons.
