Camden Public Library Events November 28 through December 12

Monday, December 2
 The Writers’ Group of the Coastal Senior College will give a reading of their latest creations at 1:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. The public is invited to come enjoy the reading.


Tuesday, December 3
 Songwriters Session at the Camden Public Library, 6:00 pm, all are welcome. The Songwriters Sessions are an informal way to try out your new music in a supportive setting with like-minded musicians and songwriters. For more information call Ken Gross at the library at 236-3440.

Final session in the Hatchery Entrepreneurial Series, 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. The series will wrap up with the development and use of the business plan. Participants may attend the whole series or sit in on individual workshops. The series is sponsored by the Bangor Savings Bank and conducted by Ken Greenleaf, microenterprise consultant at MaineStream Finance.


Wednesday, December 4
 Winterfest Committee meeting, new volunteers welcome, 8:00 am at Camden Public Library. Call Ken Gross at 236-3440 for more information.

Midcoast Stroke Support Group regular meeting at the Camden Public Library, 10:00 am, open to all.


Thursday, December 5
 Opening art reception for the art team Clarity, Robert and Su.Sane Hake, 6:00-8:00 pm at the Camden Public Library, including performance art, music by Gabrielle’s Sound, and food. Their art exhibit “Fey Fairy Fey” will be on display through the month of December at the library.


Monday, December 9
 Amy Jenner presents “Stress Relief: Ten Amazing Do-It-Yourself Acupressure Points” at the Camden Public Library at 12:00 noon. The talk is part of the Wellness series co-hosted by the library and the Pen Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.


Tuesday, December 10
 Illustrator Leslie Anderson and writers Laura Levenson and Claire Guyton present their new book, “Summer Stories: Stories by Ten Maine Writers” at the Camden Public Library at 7:00 pm. “Summer Stories” features a delightful series of paintings with short stories inspired by these paintings.



Thursday, December 12
 Author Norbert Nathanson presents his new book, “A Secretly Disabled Man: a Memoir,” published by North Wind Publishing, 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.
