Rockland, Maine - In a tradition now ten years old all
Rockland gathered to light the Lobster Trap Tree. The air is cold
but the coffee and chocolate are hot and the cookies sweet.
On November 29th, Friday night in a tradition now ten years old all Rockland gathered to light the Lobster Trap Tree under clear skies with wind. Ever the cold couldn't keep the community from coming out. The city mayor, councilors, president of Rockland Main Street INC, Crown Princess Hannah Plourde, Sea Goddess Missy Philbrook and the big man himself, Santa Claus.
Rockland Main Street INC hosted this event apart of Festival of Lights which goes through until Sunday. On Sunday families can have breakfast with Santa Claus.
