Warming Up Winter Again at The Grand!

Ellsworth, Maine - For the 4th year in a row, The Grand in downtown Ellsworth is helping the Knights of Columbus warm up winter for those in need with a fundraiser on Saturday, January 24th at 7:00 pm.  “To Warm A Winter’s Night IV” will feature great music by the area's local talented musicians and raise needed money for the THAW (The Heating and Warmth) Fund as well as other heating assistance funds. Tickets for the event are $15.00 and can be purchased at The Grand, by phone (667-9500) or online (www.grandonline.org).

Support for the event is community wide, with businesses helping with advertising and musicians
donating their talents.  Local performers include Bobbi Lane, The Crown Vics, and the Trisha Mason Band.

“We really wanted to be able to support families who need help with heating this winter,” said Chris Whalley, event organizer for the Knights of Columbus, “and we wanted to bring the community together to share in that.  The Grand loved the idea of helping us put on a show … so everybody gets to have fun.”
