DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine – Foxcroft Academy will host the Maine Music Educators Association (MMEA) District V High School Honors Festival performance on February 7 at 4 pm. This gathering of elite musicians from 23 area schools will showcase the talents of orchestra, band, and chorus ensembles in one concert as the culmination of two days of rigorous rehearsal. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for students and senior citizens, and a maximum of $10 per family.
Festival musicians were nominated by their school's music director and then selected based upon musicianship, tone, range, and comments from the director. Twelve Foxcroft Academy musicians will be represented in this year's show.
