Trekkers has postponed its annual Trekkapalooza Battle of the Bands, scheduled for Saturday night,
Jan. 24, to March 27, due to the winter storm.

Following is what Trekkers sent out via their Facebook page.

Dear Friends,
It's with great regret that we're writing to share with you that Trekkapalooza has been POSTPONED for tonight. Due to the reported timing and intensity of the pending storm, we felt that the safety for all involved was more important than pushing the envelope.

We hope that all of you who were planning on coming out tonight will still join us for this event, which will now be held on FRIDAY, MARCH 27th at 7pm at the Strand Theater. If you happened to buy tickets for tonight's show and cannot make the March 27th date, please call our office on Monday and we will reimburse you your money. Thank you for your understanding.

Also, special thanks to all the bands, the Trekkapalooza planning committee, volunteers, judges, our sponsors and finally, our Staff, who made an incredible effort in the last few weeks preparing to make tonight's event so special. I just hope you can all still join us in March.

Sincerely,
Trekkers
