Thomaston, Maine - Join with Georges River Land Trust(GRLT) for a special holiday treat of High Tea in Merry Olde England, on Saturday, December 7 at 4 pm. Experience high tea English style at a historic house in Thomaston decorated for the holidays as part of the Georges River Land Trust’s 2013 Revelry for the River. Limited to 16 participants and registration required at 594-5166. Land Trust members $40 and non-members $50.
Clotted cream, jam and scones will be served in the late afternoon on lovely china with a repast of sandwiches and fruitcake. Forget about dinner. Hats, gloves and vintage clothes anyone?
This is a Georges River Land Trust Revelry for the River event to celebrate life along the St. George River. The final 2013 Revelry event will be a Holiday History and Caroling Party on December 14 at the General Henry Knox Museum with Anthony Antolini leading the caroling.
