"Augusta’s Tree Lighting Event" and Christmas at the Fort

Augusta, Maine - The staff of Old Fort Western is pleased to announce that they once again will be participating in the City of Augusta’s annual Tree Lighting Event in conjunction with the Augusta Downtown Alliance on Saturday, November 30, 2013.  All are welcome to ride over on the trolley or walk over the bridge from downtown Augusta to visit the Fort and participate in activities from 1-4:30pm.

You are invited to warm yourself by the hearth at Old Fort Western and participate in paper cutting and Christmas caroling.  There will be a reading of “The Night Before Christmas” and hot Chocolate and mulled cider will be available.
