Camden/Rockport, Maine - Send out something special this year! Loralee Arnold will lead a two-session Holiday Gift and Greeting Card workshop that will be held at Merryspring Nature Center in November. The first session will take place on Tuesday, November 6 with the second session taking place on November 13. Both sessions will start at 12:00 noon.
This workshop series will allow participants to plan, design, and create their own holiday greeting cards that double as New Year calendars for 2013. During the first, 90-minute session guests will brainstorm ideas for cards, view examples, and construct a sample to be sold at Merryspring’s Holiday Bazaar. The second two-hour session will expand upon the first. Attendees will bring materials they would like to incorporate into building their very own cards to keep or sell.
The cost per workshop session is $10 for Merryspring members, $15 for non-members. Pre-registration is required for both sessions, with a limit of 24 participants in each class. To sign up, please contact Merryspring at 236-2239 or info@merryspring.org.
Loralee Arnold is an architect by trade and a professor at the University of Hawaii. She is currently staying in the Camden area on sabbatical.
