Blue Hill, Maine - Friends of Blue Hill Public Library will hold their first-Saturday-of-the-month book sale on November 3rd in the Library’s basement “book nook” during regular library hours, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
It’s not too early to think “holiday shopping!” The sale will feature books for and about the holidays with lots of “like-new” books for children and adults. Featured items this month include Sandman and Watchman comics, and a special collection of books on NASA and space travel. In addition there are lots of books on art, poetry, biography, history, cooking, nature, world travel guides, classics, spirituality, sports, nature and more!
Book sale proceeds enable the Friends to sponsor many of the special programs offered at the library, for both children and adults, and to make special purchases of books, dvds, etc., and equipment for the library. To donate books that are in good condition or for more information, contact the Library at 374-5515.
