Boston, MA (October 26, 2012) –CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean just announced on WKLB that he will be adding a second date on his 2013 Night Train Tour at Boston’s historic Fenway Park on Friday, July 12 due to overwhelming demand. Jason Aldean made history this morning when his July 13 show became the fastest concert sell out ever at Fenway Park.
Jason Aldean will be joined by special guest Miranda Lambert as well as Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett both nights. Tickets for the newly added date on Friday, July 12 will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, November 2 at 10:00 am ET and will be available at the Orpheum Theater box office, LiveNation.com or by calling 1-800-514-3849. Tickets will not be available at the Red Sox ticket office. Jason Aldean's tour is promoted nationally by Brian O'Connell and Live Nation.
Jason Aldean's fifth studio album NIGHT TRAIN steamrolled to a No. one debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart with 409,303 copies sold in its first week. This marks the second-highest debut in all genres of music this year and the highest in country since 2010. The total more than doubles the first week sales of Jason Jason Aldean's previous album, the Triple Platinum MY KINDA PARTY. Jason Aldean recently earned three Country Music Association Awards nominations for the November 1 show, in the categories of Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for "Dirt Road Anthem."
