Meteora returns to the Camden Library Coffeehouse, 7:00 pm, $7/$5 admission. Featuring a fascinating, enjoyable, and eclectic array of original songs and folk ballads as well as traditional songs and original arrangements, performed by venerable musicians Will Brown of Lincolnville and Kat Logan and Jim Loney of Friendship.


Saturday, November 3

Liz Peavey performs her hilarious and heartbreaking one-person play, “My Mother’s Clothes are Not My Mother,” 2:00 pm at the Rockport Opera House, co-sponsored by the Camden Public Library and the Rockport Public Library. First in an annual literary and theatrical collaboration to benefit the libraries. Tickets are $10, available at the libraries and at the door.

Simply Books! Book Club at the Camden Public Library, 2:00 pm. All are welcome. Simply bring along whatever book you are currently reading and share it with the group.

Midcoast Stroke Support Group meeting, 10:00 am at the Camden Public Library. All are welcome.


Thursday, November 8

Financial Literacy Series at the Camden Public Library begins with “Budgeting I: Financial Anxiety” at 7:00 pm. Jack Williams, senior vice president at Camden National Bank, will lead the workshop on financial anxiety. The series will continue with monthly workshops.

Opening reception for the Camden Public Library Artist of the Month, Tollef Runquist, 2:00 pm in the Picker Room. All are welcome.

“De-Stress Using Hemi-Synch” brown bag lunch talk, 12:00 noon at the Camden Public Library, presented by CJ Kenna, director of Rock the Path. The Brown Bag Lunch “Wellness” series is co-sponsored by the Library and Pen Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“Building History: My 40 Years in the White House” with former White House Consultant Bill Greenwood, 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. A Camden Conference Community Event.
