Thomaston, Maine - The Oceanside Girls Varsity and Varsity teams hosted Medomak Valley on October 2nd for great soccer action. During the Varsity teams worked their hardest as it really showed as both finished after two overtimes in a tie. What a great Varsity match between Oceanside and Medomak Valley. Those players who scored for team were Lexi from Medomak and Oceanside's Emily, each scored one goal leaving the game in a tie.
With two overtimes during the Varsity game that ended in a tie. The Jv teams played a shorter game that ended with Oceanside winning by a score of 1-0. Both Jv teams played their hardest during this game.
Upcoming Oceanside High School Girls Varsity and JV game are slated for 3:30pm and 5:00pm at Belfast Area High School on the 5th of October. Oceanside fans come out to cheer them on as they take on Belfast on October 5th, 2012, starting with the Varsity game at 3:30pm.
Upcoming Medomak Valley High School Girls Varsity and JV games are slated for 4:00pm and 6:00 at Morse High School in Bath, Maine on October 5th, 2012. Medomak fans come out to cheer them on as they take on Morse High School, October 5th, 2012, starting at 4:00pm with the Varsity game.
In other sports news, the Oceanside Middle School Field Hockey teams took on Troy Howard in Rockland on Monday, October 1st. The first game ended in a 0-0 tie after one overtime. Both teams played their hardest which really showed. Troy Howard in a short 6th grade game won by a score of 1-0.
