Show Description:
An entire kingdom celebrates the birth of a new princess, but one fairy doesn't receive her invitation to the party. Her revenge? A spindle, an evil spell and one hundred years of sleep. The Museum & Theatre presents an original, adventurous take on Charles Perrault's classic tale, Sleeping Beauty.
The Children’s Museum & Theatre presents shows for kids, by kids. Sleeping Beauty features actors ages 8-13 and audiences of all ages are welcome. Shows take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, October 19-28. Advance reservations are encouraged. To help families make connections between literacy and live performance, a special book club event will be held on Saturday, October 20, with support from the Target. Participants who read the book at home can answer a trivia question to earn one free child’s ticket with a paid adult ticket. They will watch a performance of Sleeping Beauty then participate in a book-based movement or art activity. Must register by October 19 to be eligible. Visit kitetails.org for details.
