Warren, Maine - At approximately 6:30 this morning, Knox County Deputies responded to a report of a two vehicle head-on crash on Rt. 1 in Warren, just south of the intersection of Rt. 90.  Warren Fire and Rescue were dispatched along with Waldoboro Ambulance Service.

Richards was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated.  She was transported to a central Maine
hospital by life-flight with non-life threatening injuries.  Engwer was transported to Penobscot Bay Medical Center by ambulance for complaint of pain.

There were no other passengers in either vehicle.

Criminal charges are likely once more interviews are conducted.
