Damariscotta, Maine - On Sunday February 8 at 2 PM, at downtown Damariscotta’s Lincoln Theater, popular Midcoast-based musical artists Sean Fleming, piano, and John David Adams, bass-baritone, will present an afternoon concert program to bring light and warmth to audiences during these cold winter days. “Late Winter Light” is a benefit performance to help underwrite the theater’s free program offerings for the upcoming year.
Fleming and Adams have performed together frequently over the past few years, in settings that include concert, recital, and musical theater. The pair enjoyed choosing from their diverse repertoires that range from Baroque to Broadway, and are pleased the program offers something for everyone, but should delight all.
Included on the program are beloved keyboard works old and new, arias, art songs, classic concert songs, some Broadway favorites, and of course Mr. Fleming's renowned ragtime. Graciously sponsored by Laura Cabot Catering and Gordon’s Piano Tuning & Repair, tickets are $30 and reservations may be made by calling the theater office at 563-3424, emailing info@atthelincoln.org, or dropping by during office hours, Tuesday through Friday 11 am to 2 pm. Come chase the winter greys away with musical winter light.
