Mid Coast Hospital Launches Annual Giving Campaign
Brunswick, ME — Mid Coast Hospital recently launched the start of, “Now more than Ever,” its 2013 Annual Giving Campaign.
As a non-profit organization, donations to the Mid Coast Annual Giving Fund go directly to its operating budget, helping to invest in advanced technology, trainings, and expert staff—all of which support its mission of delivering the highest quality care.
“Many people in the community have positive experiences with Mid Coast,” said Kara Johnson, Director of Development at Mid Coast Health Services. “Whether you’ve recently had a baby delivered by our Maternity Care team, been treated by our world class physicians in an emergency, or a loved one received care by our highly-trained clinicians, now is your chance to say thank you.”
Gifts support health and wellness initiatives, deliver an excellent patient experience, and care for those without the ability to pay. Examples of integral programs supported by the Annual Giving Fund include Behavioral Health Resources, Breast Health, Palliative Care, and Children’s Obesity Prevention.
Brigadier General Francis R. Dillon, USAF, a recent patient at Mid Coast Hospital said, “I’ve been impressed by the high-quality care by doctors, nurses, and staff. We are lucky to have such a fine hospital.” As a way of giving back, he will be making a donation to the 2013 Annual Giving Fund.
The Annual Giving Fund is a way for grateful patients, medical professionals, family and friends to support their community hospital and the health and strength of their community.
There are many ways to make a donation, all outlined on the Mid Coast Hospital website at www.midcoasthealth.com/gifts<http://www.midcoasthealth.com/gifts>. The website allows for quick, easy, secure, and if desired, confidential giving.
