Bangor, Maine - The evening of July 25th will feature the Concert Series’ eighth performance, and a crowd favorite, The RetroRockerz! In addition to the free concert, the Fresh Air Market, open from 5-8pm, occurs the same night and has numerous food, craft, art and other vendors selling the best of Maine made products.The RetroRockerz, comprised of members who witnessed one of the greatest eras of music in history, the RetroRockerz exclusively play the good-time, rock music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. They play the best music from artists such as the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and many others.

The Downtown Bangor Partnership (DBP) has produced the Fresh Air Market and Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series for eight years. On Thursday evenings through August 1st, free concerts are held in Pickering Square in Downtown Bangor starting at 6pm. The DBP also coordinates an outdoor market on Thursday evenings that is full of artists, farmers, bakers and many other vendors selling Maine made products; the market opens at 5pm and runs until 8pm.
The Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series is presented by Bangor Hydro Electric Company. The Bangor Daily News is the media sponsor for the summer long event.
The remaining week of the series, August 1st, will feature Flash! in the Pans Steel Drum Band
