Rockland, Maine - Today the Sea Princesses visited the Knox Center For Long Term Care in Rockland, Maine. The day started with a showing of the movie, “Buggin'”,a documentary on the Maine Lobster industry, followed by the girls signing Maine Lobster Festival posters to be given as thank yous to sponsors and others who have helped with the 2013 Maine Sea Goddess program.
During the day the girls were having their one on one sessions with the judges.
After all the posters were signed it was time for the best part of the day, time to go meet and greet some of the residents to spread a little cheer. Nothing will cheer a long day away from home like a visit from the Sea Princesses. They visited, the sang, they posed for photos, but when all was said and done I am sure the girls received more than they gave. This was a great day for all involved.
Lunch! The staff at the center prepared a lobster feed for the girls! Thank You to all the staff at the Knox Center for hosting us for the day.
After lunch it was time for the girls to learn how to create their own bouquets for the coronation and to touch on some etiquette to round out the day.
“When you give to others you always receive far more than you give”
