Blue Hill, Maine - The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library Film Series is back for the fall season on Tuesday, October 16th at 7:00 PM with African Queen (1951), based on the 1935 novel by C. S. Forester. The film stars Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, she as a British missionary and he as the Canadian captain of the boat, African Queen. The film takes place in German East Africa. After war breaks out between Germany and Britain the she convinces him to use his boat to attack a German gun boat.
