Lewiston, Maine - As part of the City of Lewiston’s Street Rehabilitation Program, reclaiming of existing pavement on Pond Road from house # 483 to No Name Pond Road will begin on June 4th. The work is expected to take approximately two days. Near June 9th, fine grading will occur in preparation for repaving. That is also expected to take another two days.
During both the reclaiming and fine grading operations, no road closures are expected. One lane will remain open to alternating traffic while work is being done. Due to only one travel lane, motorists should expect some delays, and alternate routes are suggested to be sought. Flaggers will be provided to assist motorists throughout the work zone.
