The Grand Announces Free Summer Concerts At the Ellsworth Harbor Park!

Ellsworth, Maine - The Grand is excited to announce the lineup for the annual Free Summer Waterfront Concerts at the Ellsworth Harbor Park and Marina on Fridays at 6 pm (rain or shine!) beginning Friday, July 3rd and continuing through Friday, August 28th. The Waterfront Concerts are sponsored by the City of Ellsworth. Admission is free to all concerts.

Running the gamut from Country to Jazz to an all- steel pan group, this year’s series of free summer Waterfront Concerts has something for everybody. The full schedule is as follows:

• July 3rd    The country sounds of “Danny Harper” brings the local legend's show to the Waterfront!
• July 10th  “The Eclectones” (Will St. Peter, guitar; Connor Oyster, upright bass, and Scott Cleveland, piano) perform original cross genre music as well as original and reinterpreted jazz, blues and R&B!
• July 17th  “Destroy Them My Robots!” playing 80s music six million times better than it was before.............better.............STROnger............FASTER.
• July 24th Featuring one of the most popular female vocalists in the state of Maine, “The Allison Ames Band” is capable of doing practically any type of music, from Elvis to Sugarland or from Creedence to K.C and the Sunshine Band!
• July  31st  “Flash in the Pan Steel Band” Based in Blue Hill, Maine, the group is one of the largest community steelbands in the United States, sharing their music with enthusiastic audiences of all ages!
• August 7th The Maine-based bagpipe-tastic sounds of “Maine St. Andrews Pipe and Drum Band”
• August 14th The high-energy blues of “The Juke Rockets!”
• August 21st “The Galley Rats” are dedicated to the sound of the traditional folk music of New England and Maritime Canada performed with high energy and a good deal of humor!
• August 28th “The Trisha Mason Band” that home grown Ellsworth, Maine ensemble concludes this year's Waterfront series with her signature Indie/Folk/Rock/Americana!

So, bring a friend, a blanket or chair, and some snacks.
