Rockport/Camden, Maine - Aromatherapist Nancy Lubin will lead a presentation about essential oils and their use in aromatherapy at Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, July 7 at 12:00 pm.
Essential oils differ from other plant products, including how they are produced and the ways they are used. Nancy will speak about the way these powerful compounds are isolated and how they can be used safely to our advantage, including soothing aches and pains, cleaning the kitchen sink, and simply smelling wonderful.
Lubin started her first organic garden in 1972 and began working with essential oils in 1999. In 2013 she received her Aromatherapy Certification from Aromahead Institue and is continuing her study in clinical aromatherapy.
This program is part of the Summer Talk Series at Merryspring, co-sponsored by Camden National Bank and Goodridge-Lermond Tree Service.
Tuesday talks are open to the public for $5 with free admission for Merryspring members.
