Rockland, Maine - What a night for the Oceanside boys basketball as they hosted Medomak Valley on Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 to a full, lively gym in Rockland, Maine. Oceanside was able to hold off Medomak by a 62-57, a 5 point difference win.
Oceanside scorers were Keenan Hendricks 22pts, 6pts from foul shots and two three pointers, Josh Luttrell 2pts, Nate Raye 11pts, one three pointer and 4pts from foul shots, Riley Sprague 9pts, 1pt foul shot, Sam Atwood 3pts, 1pt foul shot, Cooper W. 1pt foul shot, Nick Mazurek 14pts, 5pts from foul shots and one three pointer.
Before saying who scored for Medomak Valley, Nicholas DePatsy with 3:28 left in the third quarter
scored his 1,000 career points, amazing accomplishment. Now for the scorers, Brandon Douglas 4pts, Cale Gee 10pts, 6pts from two three pointers, Kyle Donlin 3pts, 1pt from a foul shot, Zach Starr 8pts, 2pts from foul shots, Nicholas DePatsy 16pts, 3pts from a three pointer, 5 foul shot points, Cameron Allaire 14pts, 2pts from foul shots and Cameron Martin 2pts.
This was a thrilling game to watch as both teams played outstanding with several lead changes that resulted in Oceanside having the upper head. Congratulations to Medomak Valley's Nicholas on his 1,000 career points.
