The Grand’s Screens “Maleficent”

Ellsworth, Maine - The Grand presents a special vacation evening screening for teens of Disney's rebooting of the classic villainess “Maleficent” showing on Tuesday, December 29th at 7:30 pm for only $5 per person. The film is rated PG-13.

What’s better than getting out of the cold and into a warm theater and seeing Angelina Jolie at her most sinister? As a special screening for the teens of the community, The Grand offers the opportunity to see a great film the way it was meant to be seen – projected on a giant screen, larger than life – a film that is an epic dark-fantasy story for older kids. And in Disney's 2014 hit “Maleficent”, the audience can see the untold story of Sleeping Beauty's arch-foe.

Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king's newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora (Elle Fanning) is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever. With Miranda Richardson, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Sharlto Copley.

Enjoy this special Teen Movie Night, get out of the cold, and share the experience of seeing one of the best fantasy films of the 2014 the way it was meant to be seen – on the big screen – as The Grand presents “Maleficent.”
