Erskine Hosts Coaches vs. Cancer White Out Night



Erskine Girls Basketball is hosting a White Out Night to Fight Lung Cancer as they take on the Mt. View Mustangs on Tuesday, January 27; JV 5 pm, Varsity 6:30 pm. Fans are encouraged to wear as much white as possible. Beginning January 19, athletes will be selling Wall of Hope cards for $1 on which purchasers may either write the name of someone who has or has battled cancer or their own name to show their support. The cards will be taped on a wall by the gym. At halftime of the Varsity game, JV players will be collecting donations. For more information, email mdonar@erskine247.comor call (207) 445-2962.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program empowers coaches, their teams, and communities to join the fight against cancer by participating in awareness efforts, advocacy programs, and fundraising activities to help people with cancer today and to find cures to end the disease tomorrow. Guided by the Coaches vs. Cancer Council, participating coaches have helped raise more than $87 million to help the American Cancer Society save lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.
