Rockland, Maine - The Oceanside High School field hockey field in Rockland, Maine was the site for the Busline League Championship. The two teams taken part were Troy Howard Middle School of Belfast and Boothbay Region Middle School of Boothbay.
Troy Howard players came on strong in this game that helped them win the game by a score of 4-0. Players that were able to score against Boothbay were Maya Cunningham in the first half, Cassidy Clark, Gia Davila and Julianne Smith. Lindsay Bruns in the second half.
Players on the Troy Howard Middle School team are eighth-graders Mackenzie Banks, Lauren Blood, Lindsay Bruns, Cassidy Clark, Maya Cunningham, Gia Davila, Amy Gaiero, Cassie Jackson, Mercedes Philbrook, Makenna Roberts, Hannah Sanderson, Julianne Smith, Karagen Stone and Sariah Thomas; seventh-graders Hannah Banks, Kayci Faulkingham, Aaliyah Hopkins, Sara Kunesh, Kayla Payson, Brooke Richards, Erica Staples, Ellie Tapley and Mallory Tibbetts; and sixth-graders Savana Blood, Madison Burgess, Kiara Doolan, Haley Hall, Madison Limeburner, Hailee Lindeloff, Grace Littlefield, Kelly Scott, Haley Wadsworth, Sadie Wheeler, Emily Woods and Sarah Woods.
Great game by the Troy Howard players as they really showed that they wanted the win and claiming there third title.
